I second a get together wholeheartedly.  I have been to San Jose,
New Orleans, and St. Louis....and in none of them were there social
gatherings of the ASG...that I knew about anyways.

I mentioned to Jeff (ASG) a few month back it would be great to have some
informal gatherings.

I have had a great time visiting with fellow apisto friends/nuts but I
know I have missed some really neat people on the list and in ASG.  Every
year I have gone though I have met at least another 4-5 apisto people
though.  Well worth going....

....I thought of a party/gathering in our room  (provided Erik agrees) if
I get time off to go.  I have the room, now I just have to twist some
arms.

(and if we are really good maybe I can get Erik to bring/show his
movie....an edited, subtitle version of collecting in the amazon...no
underwater footage in this one, that is for the next one)
