I second John's good reports. Erik and I just got off that LONG plane ride back to Seattle, but felt that the weekend was well worth it. Awesome line up of speakers, it was hard to pull myself out of any of the talks!!! They did a tremendous job and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We ended up buying some cyclops-eze (or however you cell it) and an a central air pump to run the whole fish room off of. The people were awesome, and it was a great, friendly atmosphere. We made lots of new friends and acquaintances including John :) Claus Christensen was a killer speaker on plants, awesome, he had numbers to match the theories we had heard on plants (ie how does increasing light, temp, and CO2 affect plant growth). On livebears learned lots of stuff I didn't know. They are much easier to classify than I thought and never knew that some gonopodiums had a right and a wrong side... ...good fish...good prices....and good plants. ..we missed the auction, and visited family in the area, and now suffering from jet lag time to get some sleep before my next conference tomorrow am. (yiks). Hats off to the planning committee on this one, probably one of the best conferences we have been too, even if they didn't have an apisto speaker :) (perhaps only closely rivavled by Romer at the New Orleans ACA, but there were so MANY good speakers on interesting topics) Kathy On Sun, 19 Mar 2000, John Wubbolt wrote: > Hello All > I was able to go down to Hartford CT for the NEC weekend.
