Great line.

The main reason I went down the route of common or garden domestic kribs,
was that they were obviously grossly inbred, however they are on the
otherhand fairly robust. Oh, and I don't have to worry about locating
specific "vars/morphs" to preserve the line purity of the strain. So my best
guess at the time was the worst I could produce would be equal to the
standard LFS fair.

The culling aspect I would also go with you on. I personally never kill
anything unless it is deformed, or would not survive. Anything else which
doesn't "make the grade" gets to live on in a community tank for the rest of
their days.

Wild type rams are something I've always wanted to get hold of, but alas
I've only once found some which looked "convincing" and were healthy, then
the bio filter crashed....
