Marble

I would agree with Mike,
Marble is calcium carbonate and does have the potential to change your pH
and hardness. Back when I use to be the chemist we used marble chips all
the time in certain experiments for it's ability to leeck Ca, or to
generate CO2. Make it an apisto tank and drop the pH...it could turn very
interesting.
