Mike, these are two different fish. The chinese algae (Gymnosomething aysomething) eater is a nasty evil fish and doesn't eat algae. The siamese algae eater (Crossocheilus siamensis) is a great little fish for taking out brush algae. But they too get a little annoying when they get big.
