I'm not an expert on conductivity.  I have heard reports from some who have 
collected in the Amazon that conductivity tends to run from 10microsiemens to 
40 microsiemens at various collection sites for apistos.  IF you have a 
de-ionizer, a conductivity tester and a means to check hardness, you can 
build your own chart and then equate hardness to a given conductivity reading.
