Re: tank bred vs. wild (was inbreeding) spawning



Sylvia,
 Chocolate gouramis are probably one of the more peaceful species you've
seen swimming around - but, when you're not looking, they are horrible!
They chase and nip relentlessly, and most usually every few weeks one
will succumb, until you have one left who is quite happy to be all alone
for the rest of his long little life! The last time I got four, I opted
for a three-foot tank with tons of cover. Next time, I will see if maybe
a four-foot tank is big enough!
