Re:

Yvan,

I have lived in Denver, Colorado for the past 23 years, ever since I completed my
MS at the University of Oregon in 1977.

I would love to meet everyone on this list (but not all at once - and especially
not some of you guys after getting "loaded" on that blue stuff! lol ). I try to
make ACA conventions and also give a few talks at various clubs each year, so who
knows?

Oregon has Dave Soares (he lives in Sisters). He is an excellent breeder with
contacts to Uwe Römer, who sends him new and rare apistos. Dave has a web site,
too. He is always happy to talk to anyone about apistos. His phone number is
(541) 549-9350. Give him a call, but be sure that you can afford a 2 hour call.
I've never been able to get off the phone in less time. And if he invites you to
visit, just take along a couple of six packs of beer and be prepared to have your
ears talked off. Dave has a new breeding installation that looks very impressive
from the photos that he has sent me.

Oh? What's wrong with being a Duck? At least, unlike my Diane's, my acceptance
letter to grad school didn't start, "Dear New Beaver"! {:-o

Quack,

Mike Wise
