Re: hi evrybody

Mike and Yvan,

This is way too weird...I only got into the hobby in a big way after I
landed in Corvallis. When I got there in '87 (also to attend grad school)
Joan Glasscock had just moved to Portland. Mike Domaschofski (spelling?)
was there and pretty big into apistos, and I had a couple of buddies at OSU
that were also apistopalians. Then a couple of years after graduating and
moving to California, I traded fish with another former OSU student - who
was there at the same time I was (I heard about him from the LFS owner, but
he would never divulge his name - afraid we might do some trading between
ourselves that didn't go through his shop, I guess).

For a town of it's size, Corvallis has had an amazing amount of activity
regarding the genus apistogramma. There must be something in the water...

Yvan, You're very fortunate to live there, Corvallis is still my favorite
town.

Mike, too bad you weren't a beaver!

Regards,

Scott
