Hello Speaking of the metal frame tanks does any one know where you can find / get / buy the old aquarium black putty originally used in the metal frame tanks ? They take more abuse than all glass tanks. Stainless steel frame tanks disappeared for the most part because all glass tanks are easier & cheaper to make and lighter to ship. I think you can still buy stainless steel tanks from scientific supply stores, but the prices compared to all glass tanks are out of sight. The trend to all glass made stainless steel tanks passe', but they were attractive and functional. > > Bill Vannerson > McHenry, IL > http://vannerson.home.att.net/ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@listbox.com. > For instructions on how to subscribe or unsubscribe or get help, > email apisto-request@listbox.com. > Search http://altavista.digital.com for "Apistogramma Mailing List Archives"! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@listbox.com.
