Hi John,

Sometime last year, the scientists that study
whales' songs reported that the whales in the east
side of Australia changed their song.  Prior to
this change the whales in the east knew only one
song as far as the scientists could tell.  If I
recall correcly, the new song was supposedly
learned from the whales migrated from the Indian
ocean (the west side).  The scientists concluded
that the male whales started changing their songs
to attract females who seem to be wooed by
something new.
