RE: Black face

Eric,
I had this problem with a A.sp.Rio Marmore male.He eventually died.I send 
pictures of him to Mike Wise.I recall that Mike said the fish could have had 
a minor stroke due to breeding stress or fighting.I've seen this before in 
other Cichlids .I lost Mikes original mail to me due to new PC syndrom.Maybe 
Mike could jump in here?
