I've decided on the species for the Rio Negro
tank. I am looking to obtain 2 species and 6-10 fish of any of the following species. I would like the fish to
be representative of the wild phenotype; no hybrids or color morphs produced
through selective breeding.
My 2 preferences are at the top of the list.
Taeniacara candidi
A. pertensis
A. hippolytae
A gephyra
A. regani
A. gibbiceps
I am planning on keeping the temp around
82°F. I'm also interested in Crenicara filamentosa, but all my research
shows that it doesn't like the temp that high. If they can tolerate
that temp then I would add them to the list.
If someone can help me out please contact me
privately at
Thanks for your help
