hi Gav, Congrats! Always nice to see some babies swimming right! weel, baby brine shrimp (bbs) is certainly the best food you can give them. Although ram are quite smal and maybe not all of them would eat. Thus, adding also paramecies and/or micro-worm would do it for the first week before switching copletely to bbs. my 2 cents. take care Yvan Alleau 712 N.W Kings Blvd Corvallis, OR 97330 College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences Oregon State University office (Burt 222) # 737-3649, to be used wisely! yalleau@coas.oregonstate.edu "When you're far from everything, you're getting closer to the essential" -----Original Message----- From: owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com [mailto:owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com]On Behalf Of gav Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2001 10:20 AM To: apisto@listbox.com Subject: Re: how "little" things can make our day ! Hello All I've always been a 'silent' member of the list.....but now i have a reason to post. I've been keeping Blue rams for a couple of years now, but i've never had much luck on the breeding front. A couple of days ago i noticed the pair behaving a bit suspiciously, but i couldn't see any eggs and thought nothing of it. Last night came back from work to find the pair escorting a load of free swimmers around. Well happy! and the best thing is it was completely unexpected. WHat do i feed them - i'm using Liqifry for egglayers should this be ok?
