gold rams and white eggs

 I have got a pair of gold rams that have spawned probably 3 or 4 times 
now. The only problem is, every time they spawn, their eggs are white and 
not pink like I thought they were supposed to be. I haven't gotten any 
younguns from any spawn yet. What am I doing wrong or just not doing? My 
water is pretty soft and my ph is about 7. Any help would be appreciated.
