Re: Apistogramma 'Apache'



Tim,

I agree, it's harder & harder to keep up with commercial names. I wish there
was a worldwide clearinghouse for names, but unfortunately there is not.

BTW I worked as a geologist on an Apache reservation once, collecting water
samples. Never saw face paint on any of them. In the past, when the paint went
on however, you sure didn't want to be their enemy. They had some fun games
with their captives. They would strip them bare and drag them through patches
of Cholla cactus or bury them up to their neck next to ant hills. I found them
to be a quiet & proud people.
