Re: how do you call..a fish a fish.



 hi helen-im with you all the way here if i pay good money for a pair of
fish that are said to be wild caught  i would expect w/c then the object of
the excersize would be to try and breed them- if successful- while im
rearing the first batch of fry up the parents are then conditioned up to
spawn again most of  the fish from the first spawning our  then passed back
into the hobby if other people are successful great if we then later on want
to exchange male /females back again all well and good then the fish are
distributed back into the trade also auctions so as a layman on
genetics/linebreeding my only basic theory is wild fish to F1s to F2s play
around with them then in all are different types of waters and then we end
up with what i would call domesticated fish-as i said before all i am is a
hobbist trying to obtain good fish breed them and pass them back into the
