interesting week to come !

hi all,
i just wanted to describe to you some kind of interesting situation
happenning in my display tank.
the tank is a 75 gallon heavily planted.
right now it contains a pair of WC heckle blue face/ alenquer, 1 pair of A.
diplotaenia F1 , 1 pair of A. borelli yellow CF WC, 1 pair of P. ramiretzi
and 1 A. bitaeniata male adult WC.
all these fish (except bitaeniata) have fry !
On the left the rams with ~150 swimming fry (1st day),
on the back of the left side the discus with ~ 80 wigglers,
in the center the diplo defending their fry that they try to keep in the pot
in the far right the borelli defending their territory and young fry !

All these fish are displaying some interesting behavior, amaising to watch,
as they try to protect their young, their territory.
We have all noticed how determined dwarfs can be when with fry and the othr
fish of the tank know that so they keep away. but then, what happen when
they are all ready to die for their young!! The fish with the more problems
are the rams as they have a hard time in controlling all those fry eager to
discover the tank and look for food.
oh well, there are some worse situation then that one.

Is there any study about social interaction among species when all of them
are raising fry? will they "repsect" each other knowing what they both have
to loose and knowing how determine their opposant is to defend their young,
or will one pair take over and eventually kill the other fish fry?

have a great week
