Dave, Most of my more polygamous species are bred as pairs or trios in 20 gallon long (30x12x12" / 75x30x30 cm) tanks. For more 'monogamous' pairs (nijsseni- & most regani-group species) I usually use 12 gallon tanks (18x16x10" / 45x40x25cm) for smaller species & 15 gallon tanks (24x12x12 / 60x31x30 cm) for larger species. Believe it or not the largest tank I have is a 30 gallon long (36x12x16" / 90x30x40 cm). I don't consider myself a serious breeder. I'm more interested in their identification & phylogenic relationships.
