Re: ram fry food

Frank.....probably not on the Moina or Pulex, Frank, but I would like to
hear other's opinions................the best first foods for rams I think
are:

1) infusoria/critters/green water in the form of plants and crushed
plants.......I've had super success with this when nothing else is
available....1-2 days

2) vinegar eels..............only for 1-2 days

3) micro worms............only for 2-3 days

4) baby Brine shrimp........can be used from day one......might loose a few
fry but can be used on day one

I generally do 1) or 3) and then go to 4) on day 2-3................

Good luck...............

if anyone knows if any of these are small enough to be eaten by newly
hatched ram fry?

to them always breeding at the most inopportune times (when I'd be very busy
with school and not able to hatch brine shrimp every day). This time
around, however, I'm planning things out carefully and willing to take the
time to culture and hatch the damn daphnia and brine shrimp.
