Have you consider culturing microworms for
your ram fry rather than daphnia and moina?
I agree bbs is a great fry food for Rams. Microworms, vinegar eels also good but, the Rams should be able to take the bbs right away. If your using Java moss and sponge filter they will find stuff there on their own. Also brineshrimpdirect.com is a good source for non-live fry food. (ie..golden pearls)...also hope this helps.
