Sara, Six weeks is a minimum for me. Usually I wait 2 months or more. My ACA fish are now in their 10th week of quarantine. I'll be putting them in with mates or breeding tanks in a week or two. Fortunately I have the luxury of having many 10 gallon tanks for quarantine purposes - & patience enough to do it.
