Re: Should I use a tank separator? /You sold me gay girafes!

I just couldn't resist, one of my favourite lines on film and I can use iot to my favourite list:-). There is a link, however tenuous, you see I've found that prolific breeders can encourage "gay" fish to discover the other sex. At present I have 1 quad of A. Nijsenni, 1 pair Pandurini, 1 pair Juruensis (flecked) and 1 trio of Agasizzi and 1 pair Agasizzi "Santarem" in an 80 gallon tank, the only one of these pairs that has previously been successful was the Panduros (the Nijsenni are still v. young.) All the above pairs are now breeding with the exception of the Aggies. There is so much going on in that tank that all the protection would keep the Mafia happy for years:-)

They said "Smile, things could be worse." So I smiled, and sure enough...
