Yes, for me they are just as difficult to sex as A. panduro if they are young. It
took me 3 tries to get a pair of A. panduro; the same for Lyretails. (Is it just
me???) Females should have dark edges on the ventral fins; males should have longer
yellow or orange extensions. Sexing is easier with mature fish, of course. It is
also easier if the fish are in something other than a box bag or bare tank.
