Big John, Yes, you are right on both counts. Oliver has several sources for Brazilian fish, not just European breeders. He is the only real source that I know about in North America that is willing to pay the price & offer wild & unusual fish. Unfortunately, most people in the USA can't afford to inspection costs, etc. to justify bringing in 2 or 3 new species. Oliver's fish are well worth the prices he asks. Unfortunately as you say, "Its really too bad that too many ppl [in the USA] are so friggin cheap." What I don't understand is why Rift Lake cichlid hobbyists will pay almost anything for their fish, but other hobbyists will not. Well, I'm off to Norway for the week.
