I usually try to use Hydrogen Peroxide as a bleaching agent whenever I am
going to be using the item around fish. Far less chance of any mishaps.
What is the material you've used to construct this? As long as it isn't
porous a few good rinses and maybe a soak in a bucket with dechlorinator
would do the trick, followed by another rinse.
Don't put dechlorinator in any water you hope to spawn softwater fish in
though, it raises the dissolved solids to an unacceptable degree in my view.
