You have found one of the species on my top five list! But I live in Sweden so I will not be able to buy the remaining three :-(
Do you have any idea from what exporter in South america these fishes came from? Can you check?
We have a nice shop in south of sweden who is regulary importing apistos from S-A. So perhaps they can also get hold of some pimentel.
I will get a box of wildcaught Ap. Commbrae next week from them! And the Commbrae have been no. one on my list for at least five years.
Well, take good care of your Ap. sp. Pimentel. It seems to be a very interesting species. Get some fry´s from them and spread them around.
Perhaps some will end up in Sweden :-)

They were mixed in with a shipment of Tapajos Dicrossus, just as suggested
in the Atlas. They are in an aquarium with a good four inches of leaf
litter, and they are demonstrating just how well they can use this sort of
substrate. There are still three left at the dealer if anyone else wants to
have a try with them.
