breeding tank size
Hi, I've used 5 gal tanks for spawning cacatuoides, mc masteri,
borelli, viejita, regani, and N. anomola. 10 gal tank for nijsseni'
and pandurini. In the 5 gal, the sooner you remove the male the
better, i've had males killed by the females once the fry are
free swimming. The tank has 2 ceramic caves and java moss. I leave
the fry with the female for 3-4 weeks, then move them to a 20 gal
tank for grow out.
