	The nitrogen cycle procuces both Nitric and Nitrous acid, both of
which can have a significant impact on pH, especially in water with low KH
(or Alkalinity, buffering capacity, acid binding capacity --whatever you
want to call it ;-))

	The decaying of anything will acidify water, too.  Driftwood tends
to leach out lignic and tannic acids.
