Mike.............suggestion!  Whatever size tank youmhave them in double it 
and let the males begin to dominate each other and all of that Apisto stuff.  
At 50+ days someone should have shown a male trait.  Look for the 
extentions on the dorsal.........the first 3-4-5 rays....or see if the caudal 
extentions mare beginning to form......that is to make the caudal look 
squarish.  If not within the next 2-3 weeks...........welcome to the wacky 
world of Apisto genetics.
