It is - 1 Central American, 2 Rift Lake, 1 sandy bottom (Neolamprologus,
stingrays, loricariids, and others), 1 fast water (rheophilics/pl*cos), 1
w/ lots of wood for pl*cos etc. , and 2 more typical biotopes - river edges
(8 setups in all). Stawikowski talks about using beech leaves as a covering
over the substrate in one of the river edge tanks - has anyone out there
tried this? There are some Teleocicla and Teleogramma pix in the fast water
section and one of the river edge tanks is specifically dwarf oriented, but
all in all I'd rate it as a secondary resource - buy it when you have some
spare $$$ ;-).

On another subject - I left town for a week recently (to go fishing!) -
when I returned my female A. nijsseni was busy herding aroung some tiny
(still w/ a small yolk sac) fry. This is the first spawn she's produced
that didn't get eaten!! 2 questions - how long do the eggs take to hatch
typically (temp = 74deg; i.e. did it all happen while I was gone), and are
nijsenni harem breeders or do they pair up? Mine are a pair, but... jp
