Kaycy here, by my understanding while being the publisher of the
Apistogramma Study Group newsletter, The Apisto-Gram, there was an article
in issue #53 written by Tom Wojtech, that N. nudiceps and N. parilus, are
the same fish. Here's a quote from his article:
"A couple of years ago a bunch came to my local pet store; but by now
everyone knew that the fish formally known as N. nudiceps was now N. parilus."
I, myself, don't know if they are the same or not, but I scanned the photos
into the article and their markings were basically identical.
Just an observation on my part.
