That ph is fine for Kribs, they are pretty tolerant of a variety of pH's.
In one book I even read that kribs can tolerate brackish water.  Have seen =
them spawn in water up to the high sevens but never experiemented with the =
ranges.


Now some of the other species of Pelvicachromis require softer water.

If I ever come out your way I will bring along some apisto's,  I think =
they are cool fish and would love to see them widely available all over.  =
So often I will donate fish to the cause, just to get more people raising =
them, spawning them and hopefully keeping them in the hobby.
