Gammarus are impossible to do wrong. I used to keep some in a kiddie pool
and just toss in some lettuce and refresh the water every once and awhile-
the extent of my culturing. Some fish have trouble with them, but the small
ones are usually snapped right up. They will eat live plants so be warned.
As a bonus daphnia, coepopods, and mosquito larvae would also pop up in the
gammarus pond.
