Hi Steve,
If I could take photos I'd go crazy with these fish. They're a
'flashlight' fish, perfect for a killie-guy with apistos like me. In
normal lighting, they are lovely, in a flashlight beam, they're
stunning.
My pair has spawned once and eaten their eggs (pH 6.8, 70ppm). I've had
them a month, and they seem robust and quite ready to settle into a
peaty brown tank. They were wild-caught fish.
I'd suggest keeping them to anyone - I've seen nice agas, but these are
really something.
