I do remember him.
A Ph.D, (Shapiro, as I recall) at San Diego State--1970-197x--used 2 1/2
gal all glass (her consturction) tanks which fit on her university
bookshelves; filled with small plants, a little sand, and no
filters--but she changed water daily (about 8 gallons for her 10-12
tanks).
