Andrey,
Depending on the species and in your case the Ramirezi is a very peaceful
and shy species.  The Bolivian Ram (Microgeophagus altispinosa) are more
outgoing and will defend themselves against much lager species.  The
Satanoperca group, although a large species are very shy and are not
aggressive in any fashion.
It all comes down to the size of tank and careful choice of tankmates.
