I use a 32 gallon trashcan with wheels... I went to Wal-Mart and in the fishing/boating section they sell bilge pumps. I bought one that can pump 450gph for $10 (for around $25 you can buy one that pumps 1000gph... which may be what you need for a long distance pumping). Then I happened to have a small 12v battery laying around (these can be purchased for under $30... or you can make or buy a 120v to 12vdc (2A) converter). I attached a hose to the output of the pump and I connected a light switch ($0.24) so I could turn it on and off... with this pump I can pump water into my tanks with are over 6' above the floor (of course flow at that height is reduced to about 100gph... but it is still better than using buckets to lift it). Hope this helps Daniel Boyer >I have an RO system and I store the water in a garbage can until I'm >ready >to use it.
