As an aside: Also this subject makes me suspicious about the fact that I cannot swim in freshwater lakes or rivers because I break out in a rash under my bathing suite and any area (like arm pits) that can't dry quickly. I used to believe it was algae. But with all this allergy info, I'm now convinced it is to various midge larvae. If the edges or bottom of the body of water were at all mucky, the rash would flare up faster. Curiously, I get no allergy from exposure to sea water. (no midges) I still feed my fish bloodworms (carefully) but I am now trying to set up a 'red wriggler' kit and hoping to substitute these, when small, to feed the apistos. They'll get a chance to wrestle for their supper. G. Kadar ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@majordomo.pobox.com.
