Re: growth rate of fry and water changes



I'd say "exactly," but you missed one important control factor:  The feedings
should be carefully measured and given exactly the same.  Also, everything in the
two tanks must be identical--the plants (type, number), the gravel (if any used),
etc.  (Gene Lucas already demonstrated that the presence of plants aids in the
growth of Bettas.)   Then to go one step further, repeat the experiment to see if
the same results are obtained.  Test results are successful only if they are
consistently repeatable.

Someone ought to conduct the experiment you mentioned.
