I have java moss and yes I am very good at killing it in my low ph. tanks.I also have a layer of salvinia on top.As far as bbs for color I have heard that it wont do the job for color.The fish lose the red I have been told.Cyclops is suppose to be better for color.The german hobbists swear by it,but then some rummors say that the cyclops will eat small fry.
