I just got back to respond. The fish were sent up by Mark Whittle. He collected them while guiding a tour of the ruins around there. The funny thing is Mark spent 5 days in a military stockade for trespassing on private property. The place was right next to the river and amazingly enough the gaurds let him keep the fish and let him do water changes. At this point it is very difficult to ID themas they are still very small. The reason I asked about A. sp. orangesaum is that two of them look just like the pictures in the Tetra book. One looks like the male with the abdominal stripes and a black patch in the peduncle following a white band. Kinda like A. four stripes only different. The female is quite plump in the belly area and is displaying a side spot most of the time. Both have the exact same dorsal as shown in the Tetra book. First few dorsal rays are slightly fused and the rest are fused just below the tips, and both have a red line on top of the dorsal. Tim Doug Brown wrote: > Hiya, > > Dave Soares brought in A. sp.
