It does seem to vary but they all figure it out eventually, within a few
days or so. It is interesting to see especially wild caught apistos have no
idea what to do with flakes.

BTW, every other day or so I crush OSI Vivid Color flakes (the one with the
nice aggie on the label) into powder and mix in my standard food of frozen
blood worms. This seems to work great, keep the apistos nicely colored and
feed the tetras too.
