Hi Bill, thanks for the info, Yeah, I have seen that with angels I used to breed. I always found that smaller tanks were better for raising fry in. I had better success with Angel parents raising their fry in 20 or even 10 gallon tanks. I just picked up 6 very nice young, zebra veil tail angels, and am going to see if I can get a pair out of those guys. Maybe start breeding angels again, I had quit 2 years ago, and flipped all my tanks to Apisto tanks. No, in the case of this Agassizzi female, she is in a 10 gallon tank, heavily planted, and just seems to munch every batch she raises from eggs. After she spawns with the male, I take him out, so she has peace and quiet to raise her fry. The tank gets a 30% water change, twice weekly, and water quality is always high. I think eventually she will get it right, but I want fry now,, hehe. So, next time she has wrigglers in her pot, I am going to steal a batch and raise them artificially. My 12 panda corys spawned last night, and this morning, I have never seen so many eggs. I picked a egg mass ball out of that tank, and have about 150 eggs. I think they all spawned at the same time. They live in a tank with my guppies, and they must have had fun last night. They always lay the eggs in the upper right corner of the tank. I guess they all spawned, and just kept adding to the same ball of eggs. I took me a good hour this morning to separate all the eggs, and stick them to the walls of hatching boxes. They all looked tired this morning,, hehehehe. I have 5 colonies of panda's going now, and I think I will have a panda cory population explosion soon. I have about 65 baby pandas, just starting to look like their parents, floating in baby boxes in all my Apisto tanks. The Hongsloi's are facinated with them and hang under the boxes, looking at them for hours,, it is funny to watch. Lady Cacatuoides with the funky red tail, is having fun with her colourful male, friend. They were doing a dance for each other this morning when I fed them their breakfast. Hopefully, they will have fun too,, grinzz.
