In one of my 5 gal fry tanks I have a white rope-like
substance growing on the tank walls- it started off small and has grown
branching like a tree(there is lots of dark green algae growing on the glass as
well). The white stuff looks like fungal mycorhizae (sp?) but I am not sure- the
fish (female borelli and fry) don't seem to be as happy or active since the
stuff started growing- the female has lost most of her yellow colour. Has anyone
seen this stuff?- know what it is?- and do you know if it is a
problem?
