Dave, If you buy them, the best way to keep them is 1 male to 2 (and preferably more) females in a very large tank (4'/1m in length). The males are reported to be totally intolerant of other male Tucuruí males and very aggressive to non-breeding females. On the plus side, they do not require special water conditions for breeding.
