John, As I breed both Killlies (Aphyosemion) and Apistos, I often have both sets of fry in the same tank. Up to press I have had no problems and the only recommendations I would make is to ensure both sets of fish are of a comparable size remembering some of the "Panchax" types have very large mouths for their size.
