Fwd: RE: Newsletter question (fwd)

Hi,

Sounds qualified, I know Bob was interested too....so do we discuss this
at a board meeting? Or was it already decided, I have no idea? I am glad
I don't have to decide anything! :)

Not sure, not my job.

Erika was t he one that arrived early, packaged plants and then also did
the computers with Ed and Sam.

Since we seem to loose the newletter editor, hard job perhaps we want to
see if Erika wants to do something else. Who knows, board topic?

As you can tell at the auction I announced open spots, or course I should
of announced Christmas Party/summer picnic but I think we may already have
a taker for that.

Kathy

Ha ha ha! Someone's pointed fingers - to you! Aren't you busy enough as
it is!? :)

Anyway, if you're the person who was soliciting applications for newsletter
editor, I'd love to hear more about what the job would entail. (Time,
specific computer applications, etc.)

I'm a technical writer by profession -- or was, until a recent layoff - and
a freelance writer on the side. I've recently had an article accepted for
publication by FAMA (hooray!).

I've also done a fair amount of web-related publishing (editing, proofing,
layout). I would imagine that editing a print newsletter would require the
same basic skill set. My primary web credits are shopcitycentre.com
(website for the City Centre, a.k.a. "that mall in the US Bank building
downtown") and charter-terminal.com (my other hobby, watching and writing
about very bad movies).

Thanks!

  - Erika
