September Board Meeting

I know it seems like we just finished the last board meeting, but if we want
to be able to announce the location of the next board meeting at Tuesday
evening's general meeting, we have some quick organizing and decisions to
make.

I have a preliminary question first...

Is Tuesday written in stone for the BOARD meetings? If it's not, then how
would the other board members feel about a Thursday evening? My reason for
asking is purely selfish, but very practical. Although I'm hoping to lure
you all down to Lakewood (south of Tacoma) for at least one meeting in the
future (when my fish room is ready for company), I realize that most of the
meetings will be much farther North -- closer to most of your homes. That
makes for a long drive after the meeting for me (I didn't get home until
midnight last time). If we continue to meet on Tuesday, that makes for a
very short night before going to work on Wednesday morning. However, if we
can meet on Thursday instead, we can have an all-nighter as far as I'm
concerned because I don't have to go to work in Seattle on Friday mornings.
I realize that most or all of you DO have to work on Friday, but I'm just
contrasting the lateness of the hour after a very long drive home. Probably
about now, someone is ready to offer me some cheese (with my whine) -- oh
well, you can't blame me for trying...

So...

Question Number One:

Tuesday, Thursday, or when?

Question Number Two:

Any volunteers? (No Erika, that would be WAY too far to drive :), but
seriously... Who's Fish Room IS ready for company? I assume we're talking
about either Tuesday, September 24th or Thursday, September 26th.

Thanks!
Rick, Board Meeting Coordinator
