RE: BOARD MEETING

Yes; you're absolutely right. At the October 24th board meeting, we
officially changed the "scheduling guideline" to read "the second Thursday
after the General Meeting". Which, as I think about it now, might more
technically read "the second Thursday after the second Tuesday" since I
don't think it was intended for the board meeting to slide on those rare
occasions when the general meeting date is adjusted to accommodate a special
speaker.

All that to say... This month's board meeting, Thursday, January 23, 2003,
is the regular (but different than last year) date.

I thought we had voted a few months ago to permanently change the board
meetings to the Thursday the week after the general meetings.

At any rate, I would be happy to hold this board meeting at our house; I
will have all the hardware for the auction set up & can test peoples'
laptops before or after the meeting.
